Is mTek Services an insurance company?

mTek is regulated with the Insurance Regulatory Authority Kenya. Our core pricinple is to ensure more people are being protected for their day-to-day lifes and assist the industry to support consumer more efficiently!

How do I sign up for mTek Services?

Visit google play store and download ‘mTek Services’ App. Once downloaded please see link below on how to sign up. Information required on signing up

Do you issue insurance policies on the weekends or after business hours?

Yes – we do! mTek provides insurance services 24/7

How do I make a claim?

You can manage your insurance policy (claim) via your app and web services and can access the claims section under the section “My policies”. The technology will guide you on what documents are required and we also provide a 24/7 support service through our customer representatives!

Which hospitals are registered under your health covers?

Our platform provides policies from numerous underwriters. Ultimately, the hospitals are dependant on the package you choose. The coverage is available at time of comparsion and you can also reach out to our customer care representatives in case of further queries!

Do I need to pay to use the mTek Services App?

No you do not need to. The app is completely free to download. You only pay when you purchase an insurance cover. #hereforyou

How can I renew my policy?

How do I access my insurance documents?

You can securely access the policy documents from the mTek app and web log-in. The policies will also be shared with you via WhatsApp and E-Mail.

How do I pay for my insurance product?

You can choose to pay either via Mpesa or card. For certain products we also offer the option to pay in monthly installments!

How do I pay in installments?

The option of installment payments is only applicable for certain product groups and for a value above KES. 10,000. If your purchase is eligible, the payment option will be offered to you at time of check-out. A downpayment of 20% is required.

How much do I pay monthly?

This is dependent on which product/quote you choose. The app will calculate the amount you need to deposit and the subsequent amount you will be paying monthly.

I would like to get the price for a certain product. How do I do that?

You can use the mTek app, web and whats App services to generate quotes! Hereby, simplicity is the key of success. You will need to provide some basic information and we will provide you with a quote instantly. The best of it: IT IS FREE OF CHARGE!
