About the role

As a Finance Assistant, you will assist with various financial tasks and administrative duties. The ideal candidate should be meticulous, organized, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Handling bank related tasks and errands
  • ⁠Preparing written instructions for bank transactions and ensuring cheques are signed.
  • ⁠Reconciling bank and credit card statements
  • ⁠Preparing statements of accounts
  • ⁠Requesting and recording commission statements from underwriters in the system
  • ⁠Organizing and maintaining finance documents such as receipts and bank statements
  • Invoice generation

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Recent graduate.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while handling repetitive tasks.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members.
  • Familiarity with financial software and systems is a plus.
